Murray K. Griffin, P.E.
After over 27 years of engineering experience with one firm, Murray Griffin co-founded Atlantic Coast Consulting, Inc. (ACC) in 2005. Mr. Griffin is the President and CEO of ACC but personally involved in the company’s projects. He has a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and is a registered professional engineer.
Mr. Griffin serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of the Solid Waste Management Association of North America (SWANA) and is the Chapter’s Corporate Director. He is a Past President of the chapter and is also the Chairman of the Georgia Chapter of the National Solid Waste Management Association (NSWMA).
In his leadership roles, Mr. Griffin has initiated and participated on numerous solid waste committees for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Land Protection Branch. He serves on the faculty of Georgia’s Landfill Operators Certification School held semi-annually at the University of Georgia.
Mr. Griffin is among the most experienced and trusted solid waste engineers in Georgia and has designed, permitted, and certified the construction of numerous solid waste landfills, transfer stations, and other facilities in the Southeast and Puerto Rico.
