Robert Brown, P.E.
Robert Brown joined Atlantic Coast Consulting, Inc. (ACC) in January 2006 as a regional manager for the Savannah, Georgia branch office. Mr. Brown’s over 18 years of design experience includes general civil, water and wastewater transmission, site development, institutional, airport and solid waste projects. Mr. Brown has analyzed drainage and pavement problems, coordinated geotechnical and hydrologic analyses, developed construction documents, and been responsible for coordinating permitting with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies such as the ACOE, EPD and NRCS.
He has coordinated infrastructure reviews, system modeling, proposed improvements, capital improvement plan development and funding analysis. Mr. Brown also serves as the review engineer for development review services for local governments where his reviews confirm developer compliance with zoning regulations, subdivision ordinances, and other requirements. Mr. Brown's two years of experience as landfill manager for BFI where he oversaw operations at two facilities, as well as closure of one landfill and the construction and opening of another, give him a unique perspective on solid waste projects.
